The GobWatch system automatically controls the gob weight, monitors the gob forming process and inspects glass gobs for inclusions.

Artificial
Intelligence
At Cortex Glass we make extensive use of Artificial Neural Networks in our systems.
The first neural network is already running for over four years in the GobWatch system detecting and categorizing inclusions in flint glass gobs.
The new ISWatch neural network is trained to detect inclusions, bubbles, bird swings, fins, spikes and other critical defects.
The use of neural networks is also used by Cortex Glass in automating the glass forming process.
