Transport Monitoring
The TopWatch system uses one small infrared camera mounted above the conveyor to make top view images of the hot glass products.
The TopWatch measures with a high precision the following transport parameters of each glass product:
- X-Position
- Y-Position
- Rotation Angle
The cavity related information is stored and displayed in trend graphs on an interactive Touch Screen.
With the TopWatch system the pusher settings of an IS-Machine and the conveyor belt speed are easily set up and controlled.
A smooth hot end transport and a reduction of the Job Change time is the result.
Hot
End Ware Reject
The TopWatch system can reject glass products for:
- Stuck Ware X-direction
- Stuck Ware Y-direction
- Fallen Ware
- Too close to each other
- X-Position deviation
- Y-Position deviation
- Rotation Angle deviation
Data of each rejected glass product is stored in a database. The data can be easily retrieved and displayed.

The TopWatch system is fully oriented to Industry 4.0 / Smart Factory and provides real time process data which is stored in an accessible database.
